Enterprise carbon accounting involves massive datasets, complex organizational hierarchies, and regulatory frameworks that vary by jurisdiction. The existing MVP was functional but overwhelmed users with raw data tables and lacked the visual hierarchy needed to surface actionable insights. Enterprise buyers were bouncing during demos.
We redesigned the entire dashboard with a data-first approach — interactive charts, drill-down hierarchies, and automated report generation that turns raw emissions data into board-ready PDF reports. The frontend was rebuilt in Next.js with server components for data-heavy pages, and we added real-time WebSocket updates for live emissions tracking from connected IoT sensors.
Greenledger was building a carbon accounting platform for mid-market companies facing new EU sustainability reporting requirements (CSRD).
